Working Mama

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner
Kelly's Korner is hosting Show Us Your Life- What's Your Typical Day Like? So I thought I would participate today. I'm very happy with our typical daily routine. It took us many months to get into a comfortable routine. Which of course will completely change once the pumpkin is born. Ha!

I start my day around 6:30 with a shower and get dressed. Jesse and Olivia get up at 7:00. He dresses and feeds her breakfast while I finish up. At 7:30 we switch. I'll play with Olivia and he'll start getting ready for work. I'll also take everyone's lunch for the day. Our sitter arrives around 8:00-8:10 and we're off to work.

Since I'm a case worker that does in home visits my works days are never the same. Today I had four appointments. Thankfully they were all in town but I have some clients that are an hour away from my office.

I usually get home around 4:45 and snuggle with Olivia. At 5:00 I'll put load of laundry in the wash and start dinner. Dinner's on the table at 5:30 which is exactly when Olivia is starving. At 6:00 we'll play and spent time with Olivia or Skype my family. 6:30 we start Olivia's bedtime routine. She has a bath, book, bottle and bed.

While I'm putting Olivia to bed Jesse will pick up toys and start cleaning the kitchen. Once she's asleep I'll finish up in the kitchen, put up laundry and clean whatever zone needs cleaned that day. Around 8:00 I'll turn on my computer and do some blogging, Facebooking and emailing. Jesse and I meet in the bedroom around 8:30-9:00 to snuggle and watch TV. Lights out at 10:00. I've been so tired the last few weeks that I soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out...until I randomly wake up at 4:00 am and can't go back to sleep. For some reason I don't sleep well when I'm pregnant. Then it all starts again in the morning.
