Babymoon: Part 2

Jesse wanted to get to the game early because they were giving away bobbleheads.  So we jumped on the Metro and headed to the stadium.  It's important to note that the last time we were in DC it was late June Jesse made us walk everywhere.  We walked over 30 blocks to the Smithsonian.  So this time I refused to walk more than six blocks at a time and that's how far the Metro station was from the hotel.  Perfect!  Jesse wouldn't let me take a picture of us on the Metro because he didn't want us to stand out.  Ha!
Once we got to the stadium all you could see was red.  Both Philly's and National's fans were in red.  We wore black in support of the White Sox.  The stadium opens center field early so fans can watch batting practice.  So Jesse got his bobblehead and we watched practice.
Once they opened the rest of the stadium we got some food (stadium food not so yummy) and found our seats.  We had great seats directly in the sun. Yay! Thankfully by the time the game started the sun was behind the stands.
The game was great and dramatic til the end.  There were a lot of Phillies fans at the game and they are serious about their team.  They're very vocal about their support. Ha!
After the game we headed back to the Metro and ran into this crowd.

Yep everyone was going to the Metro.  I think it took us 30 minutes to get down there.  Once we did there was a train waiting and cops yelling at everyone that they had to get on the train.  We walked up to the front of the train and were happy to find seats.
