Project 365 {day 22-28}

Day 22- Where do you take a toddler that's tired of running errands? Petsmart of course.  She loves looking at the animals.
Day 23- Olivia and Grammy heading out on their lunch date wearing their Steelers gear{taken w/ cell phone}
Day 24- Emily playing in her Bumbo
Day 25- Olivia got a bowl with a straw to help with eating her cereal.  She loves it!
Day 26- There are so many things going on in this photo.  Olivia wrote all of herself when I wasn't looking, she insist that all of her baby dolls be naked and she's using her Halloween pumpkin as a purse {she saw it in the basement when we went down to do laundry}.
Day 27-Emily chewing on Charlotte {teether snake}.
Day 28-Olivia admiring her apple print masterpiece.

Project 52 {poop}

This week motherhood to me is all about poop.  Yep, poop.  I'm up to my eyes in it.

Olivia is at that stage where she's not quite understanding the potty but is very aware of what is going on in her diaper.  So instead of telling me she needs changed, she show me.  Either by taking it off or having it on her fingers.  None of the parenting books I read said anything about how gross toddlers can be.  Bless her heart. {Yes, I mean that in the not so nice southern way} On top of Emily's straight to the bathtub, need to cut off the onesie blow outs a couple of times a week.  Good times.  But hey one day I'll look back fondly on these days, right? Ha! At least I didn't take a picture of the dirty diapers. You're welcome!

Have a Happy Green Day

I'm working on a new blog Have a Happy Green Day with my friend, Annette. We're focusing on our goal to become more green.  Last year I made a lot of changes to our lifestyle so my family could become more sustainable but there is still so much I want to do.  I'd love you to check it out.  Plus we're having a giveaway.

Project 365 {day 15-21}

Day 15- Don't take a hungry toddler to the grocery store unless you're willing to let her eat goldfish out of the bag.
Day 16- Olivia put her tutu on herself.
Day 17-Sorry if this is gross but this is what Emily looked like all day.  Between spit ups and blow outs she wore five different outfits this day.  Spit up or not, I think she's super cute!
Day 18-Olivia thought Emily's outfit needed an accessory so she put a bracelet on her wrist.
  Day 19-Olivia discovered that she can open her dresser drawers. Ugh
Day 20-Tummy time
Day 21- Super cool shades

Project 52 {corn}

We gave Olivia corn on the cob for the first time a few days ago.  It took her 20 minutes to eat it, but when she was done there wasn't a kernel on the cob.  I love watching her experience new foods.  We're so blessed the she loves food!

{winter} Evening

I'm addicted to Etsy.  I love to look at the daily treasures and drool.
This collection makes me want to take up knitting.  I absolutely LOVE the handbag.  I'm putting it on my birthday wish list.  And wouldn't my coffee cup look cute in a cup cozy? Oh, I'm in love!

Random {shots}

Purse- check, keys- check, id badge- check.  She's ready for work.
When I was still working I picked Liv up from daycare and this is what her hair looked like.  The dry air made her look like Alfalfa. Poor kid
This one is for Auntie Nichole, enjoy!

Project 52 {Leg warmers}

Olivia doesn't like to wear pants. She does fine in public but once we're at home the pants are off.  We've come to accept it. One day she'll like pants again.  So until then I've convinced her that leg warmers are cool. I think she looks pretty cool.

No Bonbons Here

It's been a week since I started my new gig.  I love and adore my little "employers" but man I'm tired! It's not all soap operas and bonbons.  We're still trying to find a routine that works for us.  But really how much of a routine can you have with a 21 month old and 14 week old?  Right now we're just going with the flow.
Over the past few days Olivia has been wearing headbands as belts.  At first she was wearing them as necklaces, now they're belts.   Maybe she has a future in fashion.
Today Olivia taught Emily how to play with the toys on her swing.
So even though I'm exhausted and my house is a wreck (tornado Olivia) I'm glad to be here, enjoying these moments.
